Vaccine rollout in the country is going well, see the numbers below

The Corona virus came to change our lives and our way of living, it has made our lives harder and what is more painful is that the virus has taken so much from us since last year.

Our only defence against the virus is the vaccine, because there is no cure yet. Almost every country is on the process rolling out the vaccine, South Africa is also on the process of the rollout since earlier this year.

So far two Covid-19 vaccines are being used in the country, Johnson & Johnson vaccine and Pfizer vaccine.

Many public servants did not have any problem getting vaccinated, many members of the public were hesitant about the vaccine in the beginning but so far many civilians have received the jab.

As of 26 September 2021, the number of people fully vaccinated is 8 391 620, and 8 431 170 partially immunised.

The province of Gauteng has the highest number of vaccinations with more than 1 million people fully vaccinated using Pfizer vaccine and more than 782 256 people have been vaccinated using the J&J vaccine.

See the numbers are below:

South Africans are advised to get vaccinated all the time, this is the only way to fight this virus.
