Drink without Losing your Glow like Mihlali Ndamase

Have a filling meal full of veggies, protein and healthy fats. The glycemic response due to the sugar of alcohol will be lessen. Also drink a lot of water the whole day, more than usual if possible.

WHILE YOU ARE DRINKING:

More water! try to have a glass of water every two drinks, also eat something if you can, that is why I rather get drunk in dinner or lunch than in the clubs, when I arrive to the club I might get some shots or drinks but the heavy drinking I do it in the dinner or pre-party where I can have some snacks so I don’t die. If you are not able to do this pack a protein bar in your purse, that is also great for when you head home so you don’t eat the first nasty thing you find in the fridge.

AFTER DRINKING

When you arrive home try to drink 500ml to 1L of water and leave another liter next to your bed so when you wake up that is the first thing you put in your body. The next day take hot water with lemon, a multivitamin, a green smoothie and coconut water or an electrolyte water. Have a breakfast full of antioxidants and good fats.

I know all of this sounds like a lot but I swear it is worth it, plus the more you do it, the more it will become a habit and you won’t even realize you are just doing it automathically even if you are drunk. I hope you liked this post, stay safe my beautiful drunkass. xx
