It said most of the cases, for Tuesday, were accounted for in KwaZulu-Natal with 23% of cases followed by Gauteng at 21% - while the Western Cape represented 19% of cases. Free State represented 10% of cases, Mpumalanga for 9%, the Northern Cape represented 7% - while North West represented 6%, Eastern Cape for 5%, and Limpopo 1%.
The NICD said the all outnumber of Covid-19 cases on Tuesday is 1.6%, which is higher than that recorded on Monday (1.4%).
