What should I do to gain some muscles?

I just turned 18 , although I'm skinny but my belly and face have some fat, what should I do to gain some muscles?


OH LAWRD, you can't even begin to imagine HOW FREAKING LUCKY you're.

  • First, you're here, so you'll learn ALL the good shit.
  • Second, you're not SO SKINNY that's nearly impossible to eat enough to get a CALORIC SURPLUS, you have a bit of fat, that's a good thing.
  • Third, you're 18, you're basically on steroids.

First, if you're very anxious, I'll cut you the short answer, engage in resistance exercise and eat lots of protein. As simple as that.

Now let me elaborate on why you're SO LUCKY champ.

CALORIC SURPLUS is when you ingest more calories than you need to survive, to keep that METABOLISM going, when that happens your body will use the "spare parts" to perform several different functions like mood regulation, hormone production, promoting alertness, building muscle, and IF the calories you ingested are not required to perform none of this other AWESOME functions, your body doesn't just waste energy away, energy is PRECIOUS, the body stores it for later use, it stores it as adipose tissue, DAT FAT ya know KAT.

You see, to build muscle effectively, HYPERTROPHY, you need to be able to establish a CALORIC SURPLUS, this means your body can't be burning all the amino acids, building blocks of muscle, you ingested by eating protein to keep you alive, to maintain your METABOLISM.

Since you already stored a little fat, it's a great sign that you have the appetite required to build muscle, and YEAH eating a lot is a skill, and some people struggle a lot with it.

Ya gots to EAT PROTEIN & LIFT HEAVYASS SHIT.

Now the last bit of the puzzle is, YOU'RE 18 YEARS OLD, your hormone profile is at its PRIME and ramping up. It's as if you're on steroids, You know what will happen with 2-3 years of discipline, good food, good sleep, GREAT WORKOUTS.

It will ramp up EVEN MORE and set an incredible base for the rest of your life, 99% of people reach 18yo and focus on RAPING their hormones with alcohol, sleep deprivation, and bad nutrition.

My G, you're one of the lucky ones, the one that HIT THE JACKPOT, the only thing that can set you back now is if you start comparing yourself to other people and not to yourself only

and drift off of the IRON PATH.
