For those who don't know Dementia is not a specific disease, dementia is a group of conditions characterised by impairment of at least two brain functions, such as memory loss and judgement. It is much common in the old and is influenced by ones genes. Despite being influenced by ones genetics, certain sneaky habits can push you towards it.

Inthis article we will go through some of the 8 everyday habits you may probably do that are putting you at risk of developing dementia.

1. Not exercising your brain.

2. Poor diet.

3. Not getting enough sleep.

4. Leading a sedentary life.

5. You had a brain injury in your past.

6. You are drinking too much alcohol.

7. You are socially isolated.

8. You are not visiting a doctor or taking care of yourself.

It's important that you keep you brain active, be in good health as it also affects the health of your brain, also make sure your keep in check with your mental health, being in a good mood is also important.
