Over the past couple of weeks, KONKA SOWETO has been trending in South Africa following different video clips that revealed the spending habits of their customers. On top of that many people have been interested in selected individuals that go to KONKA; in terms of their occupations, dress code, and their vehicles. Since many people on social media cannot believe that there are individuals that can spend tens of thousands on mainly alcohol, especially in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. If you’re not having fear of missing out (FOMO) then you’re questioning other people’s lifestyles that are seen at KONKA every week.

If you didn’t know, KONKA is a day and night club situated in Pimville Zone 7 within Soweto, Gauteng. It operates from 10:00 a.m to 9:00 p.m from Thursday until Monday and it’s closed every Tuesday and Wednesday. It is regarded as one of the busiest clubs within Gauteng, as it welcomes hundreds of customers throughout the day. People that have been to the establishment cannot stop talking about their experience, which has led to the club gaining popularity each week. After the video of an unnamed person allegedly spent a fortune when purchasing 16 bottles of Armand De Brignac Ace of Spades Brut that cost about R6 000 per bottle within the club; that made people want to know more about the establishment.

The restaurant and nightclub have numerous people on social media in their feeling, after seeing their menu. Let’s just a night in KONKA doesn’t come cheap at all and whoever visits the club must have a lot of money to enjoy the expensive fun. A bottle of good luxury champagne can cost you between R1 300 to R14 000 and that’s someone’s salary within Mzansi. Hence no one should try to compete with money spenders that visit KONKA as that might end in tears if you’re relying on a salary to live up to the high standards of the establishment.
