Healthy Chocolate Pecan Pie


Ingredients:


Filling:


heaping 1 cup of chopped pecans

2 tbsp molasses

3/four cup maple syrup

2-three tsp nut butter of desire (almond butter for me)

1/four cup flaxmeal whisked into 1/three cup of water

half tbsp bourbon or 1 additional tbsp of water

1 half tsp pure vanilla extract

1/2 tsp salt

optional: chocolate chips, nutmeg and extra pecans for toppings

Crust:

1 three/four cup wheat flour

1/2 tsp salt

1/3 cup coconut oil

half of cup bloodless water

Method:

For this recipe you may prefer to use save bought crust or make your personal wholesome variant :)

For this recipe, I use my personal recipe of wheat flour, salt, coconut oil and water, I blend all of it. Stir till it paperwork a dough. When running on it, if you experience like it is a chunk too dry you may add more water or oil or if it is the alternative, add a piece greater flour. Press into pie dish, bake for 10 minutes at four hundred F.

Now for the filling, mix all together besides the toppings. Let it relaxation inside the fridge for atleast half-hour. It will thicken because of the flaxmeal. Pour into the crust. Top with chocolate chips or more pecans. Bake for atleast 35 mins. Then flip off from the oven and allow it take a seat inside the became-off oven! Then serve and experience :)
