Simple Recipe For Making Jam At Home With Yellow Peaches

In this article, I'll show you how to make jam at home with yellow peaches using a simple recipe. It's harvest season, and there are far too many yellow peaches at home, making it difficult to consume them all at once. So I decided to put my creative side to the test and make jam with the yellow peaches. Let's get started on the jam-making recipe and instructions.

Ingredients

1. washed, sliced, and cored yellow peaches


2. Sugar; I used 1 cup of white sugar in my recipe.


2. a cup and a half of water


4. Juice of lemon (optional)

Instructions


1. Place the peaches, sliced, in a pot or saucepan. Combine the sugar, lemon juice, and water in a mixing bowl.

2. Cook for 10 to 20 minutes at a low temperature. Remove the foam with a slotted spoon between boils and begin crashing or pounding the peaches until well integrated or blended.

3. Stir regularly after mashing to keep the peaches from sticking to the pot or saucepan. When the jam begins to gel or thicken, remove it. Don't worry if it's taken longer than the 30 minutes you planned when you started boiling the peaches.

4. To avoid contamination, boil water and sterilize the glass jars in between breaks.

5. When you're finished making the jam, set it aside to cool before transferring it to the jar.

Serve with bread, toasted bread, scones, and other items as desired.
