Yummy tender casserole recipe

Oxtail casserole

A heart ❤ warming meal for your loved one's as the weather permits, this meal will definitely bring in that warmth and joy in your home try it out


1kg oxtail 

1/3 cup flour 

1 medium Onion, chopped 

1 cup beef stock dissolved in boiled water 

1 cup dry Red Wine

2 bay leaves 

2 Tbsp Curry Paste 

1 Tbsp Paprika 

1 Tbsp Garlic 

1 cup Tomato Purée 

2 Tbsp Olive Oil 

Veggies of your choice carrots, potatoes or green beans are optional


Rinse and pet dry meat

Coat with flour 

Heat Oil in a large pot and brown meat then set aside 

Same pot add onion until translucent 

Add Garlic, paste, bay leaves , paprika and stir 

Pour Tomato purée and stir 

Take back meat

Pour wine and stock

Slow cook for 2 to 3 hours or until meat is tender 

Tip: add water bit by bit for during the cooking process
