Traditional Chicken liver Recipe

Traditional Chicken livers recipe

Ingredients

500g of chicken livers ( completely defrosted) - rice and drain the blood from the liver

1 large Onion chopped

1 head of garlic - chopped

Tomato paste - or 2 large tomatoes

1 tbsp of chicken spice

1 tbsp of minced garlic

1 tbsp of curry powder

1 tbsp of tomato paste

1 tsp of Italian seasoning

1/2 cup of water

5 tbsp of cooking oil

(NB) use spices according to your liking

Preparations

In pot or pan add oil, onion, garlic, spices.

Fry the onions and the garlic until golden brown, add 2 tablespoons of tomato paste.

Fry for 2 minutes then add chicken livers.

Fry for 5 minutes then add water.

Cook for 10-15 or until the liver is cooked.

Tips

- do not overcook the liver, it will be too soft and mushy.

- serve with a side with starch or as a starter
