Simple and easy magwinya recipe. Amagwinya are also know as fat cakes or vetkoeks

Magwinya recipe
Ingredients
3 cups of flour
3 teaspoons of yeast
2 table spoond of sugar
Pinch of salt
Luke warm water or milk
Method
Mix your flour, sugar, yeast and pitch of salt in a separate bowl.
Add lukewarm water to your dry ingredients. Make sure the dough is not too hard and not too soft either.
After your ingredients are well mixed, let it sit in a warm place until it doubles in size. You can put it under the sun so that it rise fast. Let the dough rest for at least 30 minutes.
If the dough takes long to rise, you can leave it out for longer.
Ensure that your oil is hot. Add small potions of the dough to the hot oil. Fry your magwinya until they are golden brown.
Serve your magwinya once they have cooled down, for breakfast or lunch.
