How to Make Raisins at Home.

Raisins are delicious natural snack that can be eaten on their own or added to a variety of recipes,such as oatmeal raisin cookies . In addition to being so versatile ,their also so easy to make ! By simply drying grapes in the sun, in an oven, or in a dehydrator, you can easily make your own raisins in no time.

Something we could all agree on, however , was that golden raisins are far superior to their brown, shriveled counterparts . They just taste better . They are fruitier . And while regular brown raisins can be dry and grainy .Not to mention overly sweet, golden raisins have more nuanced flavor and are plump and sweet.


INGREDIENTS

• 500 grams green grapes

• 3-4 water for boiling


INSTRUCTIONS


1. Collect all the required ingredients .

2. Take green grapes and remove the larger stems from your grapes .

3. Rinse the grapes under running water to wash them .

4. Wash thoroughly for 3-4 times.

5. Take enough water in a deep pan for blanching.

6. Before drying your grapes, you'll want to blanch them. You can skip this step if you want, but blanching your grapes first softens the skins and helps them dry evenly. And it only takes a minute .Make sure to not boil the water just it up .

7. When the water starts heating, drop the grapes.

8. After 2-3 minutes , the grapes will start floating above the water.

9. When the grapes will boil over and the crack has come in them too. Switch off the flame.

10. Do not over boil the grapes.

11. As soon as the grapefruit starts floating and all the grapes exploded from the centre, take the out from the water.

12. Take out the grapes using sieve or spoon.

13. Let them cool for 5-7 minutes .

14. Take a plate or tray and spread cheesecloth/kitchen towel/cotton cloth.

15. Spread the grapes over the cloth.

16. Place the tray outside in a dry sunny place. You can take the tray inside in the night if it is foggy.

17. Once the grapes have dried to the point if becoming , take the tray inside and place the raisins in an airtight container .You can store the container in a cool place or refrigerate.
