3 cups self raising flour
or 3 cups plain flour and 3 teaspoons baking powder, sifted together
1 cup Sprite
1 cup whipping cream
Extra beaten egg and dash of milk to brush on scones
Combine the flour, cream, and sprite in a bowl and mix until just combined. (Overmixing will result in dense, rock-like scones.)The dough should be soft and fairly sticky.
