Lots of fruit and vegetables are rich in vitamins and minerals, which are highly beneficial when used in beauty treatments that we can do at home. Cucumber is one of them — it has refreshing, moisturizing, and anti-inflammatory properties.

Trick 1: Cucumber reduces swelling after hair removal

Cut a cucumber in 2.

Peel a thin slice.

Place it on the irritated area. Leave it on for a few minutes.

Remove the slice. You can repeat this process as many times as needed until you get the desired effect. Your skin will no longer be irritated.

Peel and grate a cucumber.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Cucumber popsicles

Put a diced cucumber and half a cup of water in a food processor or blender.

Pour in half a cup of lemon or lime juice.

Add a couple of tablespoons of honey or agave syrup.

Blend all ingredients until you get a liquid consistency.

Freeze the mixture in a popsicle mold. You could also add some thin cucumber slices.

You can now enjoy your sugar-free popsicles on hot days.
