Bad harvests in South America, a scarcity of workers due to the COVID-19 outbreak, and rising demand from the biofuel business have all contributed to an increase in the price of cooking oil around the world.

As a result of oil prices being about four times higher than in 2019, the eatery had to raise their prices at the beginning of April. Even regulars are taking one look at the prices and turning away.

Retaliation was made, and we engaged in combat. We proposed, "Let's wait a bit longer; maybe the market will improve, maybe (prices) will stabilize." However, we found out that nothing has changed.
