Do you have extra rice crispies at home? Then try this simple rice crispy biscuit. The kids will love it too. Here is what you will need to start
3 cups of flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
150 grams of butter,1 egg. Half a cup of sugar and full cream milk.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk the eggs, sugar, baking powder and vanilla essence together properly. Then add the sifted flour and the rice crispies together with enough milk to form a soft dough. Knead the dough until soft and roll it out on a flat clean surface. Grease a baking tray or line it with baking paper and cut the dough into thin squares. Bake until golden brown. To check if the biscuits are cooked, gently pierce with a knife. If the knife comes out dry then it is cooked.
Please share. Have a good week end.
