It seems like there will be a lot of chaos as South African people seem to be not impressed with one of the women who made it to the Miss South Africa top thirty. The Miss South Africa is an organization that is more focused on uplifting people's lives and making a change a worldwide. A person who gets selected as the Miss South Africa has the responsibility to advocate for what she believes is important to her. Over the past years, this platform has impacted so positively on the lives of many individuals in the country.
A day ago the organization announced the top thirty women who will be going to the next round. Thulani Ndzotyana is amongst those who made it to the top thirty. She is a social media influencer and artist agent. She has revealed that youth empowerment is one of her biggest wishes to fulfill. She has hopes of touching positively non the lives of many young people. She believes that giving young people a chance to make a change is really important. It seems like her happiness will be very short lived due to the things that she did four years ago.
Apparently she supported her then boyfriend rugby player Khwezi Mafu who was accused of rape. It is said that she literally told the victim that she asked to be raped and also she joked about it. Rape is one of the most painful things that women are going through in this country and a day does not pass without women reported to be raped. The fact that she joked about such a sensitive matter and never gave the victim a chance to speak has left many people angry .
They believe that this platform is not right for people like her who are very insensitive and judgemental. People have called for the organization to disqualify her from the competition as she has been exposed just like they did with another woman two years ago. They believe that she is not the right person to represent South Africa and if the organization fails to meet the demands of the country it might end in tears. They have revealed that they will be left with no choice than to boycott the competition. What is your take on this matter? Share your views on the comment section and follow for more news.
