She is the third woman from South Africa to win the title, and the first black woman since Angolan Leila Lopes was crowned Miss Universe 2011.zozi tunzi did not take long before to congratulating Miss SA 2020.
Zozi who have 2.7million followers on Instagram commented on shudu'picture and said " I have no doubt that you will be outstanding, congratulations.
Zozi arrived in Cape Town on Tuesday, sharing a photo on Instagram announcing her return to the Mother City. "Touch down Cape Town! Ready to kick off the Miss South Africa pageant," captioned her picture on Instagram.
Miss South Africa 2020 will be crowned at The Table Bay hotel in an entertainment-packed event on Saturday, 24 October, from 17:00. The event will be screened live on M-Net and Mzansi Magic and will also be streamed online.
She has chosen to celebrate her blackness by embracing her naturalness.
She said “I came into this competition with my natural hair as a symbol of my firm belief in fair representation of any shape and form.
And so, through my win, I hope I have inspired people, even if just one person to be themselves at all times and to never compromise their identities, and to insert themselves in spaces where they feel that people like them do not belong.”
Indeed she inspired lots of back woman to be comfortable at their own skin and hair.
Shudufhadzo musida who was"crowned Miss South Africa on the 24th of October 2020 appeared with her natural hair shaved and looked so amazing and proud.
