The New Miss SA Has Made Zulu Kingdom Great Again, Find Out More About This Blessed Lady

Miss South Africa pageant for 2021 is a 24-year-old Lalela Mswane from KwaZulu-Natal, a model, and a dancer.

Lalela Mswane was born in Richards Bay in KwaZulu-Natal, She is the youngest of three children having an elder brother and a sister. Her father died in 2010 and her mother Hleliselwe worked as an account clerk and a homemaker. MaMswane holds a Bachelor of Law qualification from the University of Pretoria. She said that she posses compassion, tenacity leadership, and people skills which gives her the titleholder. Lalela told the judges that she has a heart willing to learn and grow, being chosen as Miss South Africa will be an absolute honor for her to reign in the year 2021.

Before becoming a Miss South Africa, Mswane worked as a professional model signed to the South African modeling Agency Alushi Models. Mswane began her pageantry career after participating in the Matric Experience in the 2015 pageant, where she finished as the first runner-up. On the 16th of July 2021, Mswane was among the 30 women shortlisted for the Miss South Africa 2021 competition. After further interviews and public voting on the 3rd of August, she was announced as one of the ten semifinalists who then moved over to the televised Finale.

After a swimsuit and evening gown portions of the competition, Mswane came in the top five and she was getting closer to the win, sometimes doubts can make the contestants quiver with fear. But she stood tall and declared her reason why she wants to be the next Miss South Africa. With a powerful reason which stunned the Judges Lalela went to the top three and the rest is history. The event took place at The Grand Arena, GrandWest in Cape Town. Miss Mswane will pocket R1 million in cash and will be accommodated at an apartment at Central Square Sandton, her transport will be a Mercedes Benz C-Class sedan which she will enjoy in her year of reign. The live show hosted top artists which included the Ndlovu Youth Choir, Ntokozo Mbambo, and Zakes Bantwini.
