Natural remedies to get rid of a mole at home

Moles are skin growths that can develop anywhere on the body. They are usually harmless but sometimes they can be cancerous. It can be costly to get a mole removed so here are some home remedies to remove moles.

1. Garlic

Crush some fresh garlic to create a paste. Apply the paste on the mole and make sure to avoid the skin area around the mole. Cover the mole with a bandage overnight but if it causes any burning sensation then wash it off immediately. Enzymes in the garlic can destroy cell clusters that cause the mole. Apply this paste for 5 days.

2. Castor oil and baking soda

Mix one tablespoon baking soda and two tablespoons castor oil to make a paste. Apply the paste on the mole for some hours before washing it off. The paste will dry out the mole with the help of the baking soda while the oil protects the skin.

3. Oregano oil

If you have sensitive skin then this oil will not be the best for you. Mix oregano oil with coconut oil and apply it on the mole three times a day. The mole will not be able to breath because of the oil.

4. Iodine

Iodine will cause the mole to flake off if applied for weeks until it has disappeared. This is most suitable for people who have sensitive skin. Buy the 5% iodine in the pharmacy and apply some petroleum jelly on the skin surrounding the mole. This will protect your skin from being burnt with iodine.

5. Tea tree oil

Tea tree oil can get rid of moles but slowly. Apply the oil on the mole twice a day for it to be removed. If the mole is big then it might take more time to remove it.

6. Honey and flaxseed oil

Honey when applied to a mole will cause it to fade away within a few days. Flaxseed oil on the other hand will help get rid of the scar and mole.

7. Frankincense oil

Frankincense oil has properties that help absorb oils and dry the skin. Apply the oil daily on the mole so that it dries out, scab and fall off your skin.

8. Hydrogen peroxide

Apply hydrogen peroxide three to four times a day. First ask the pharmacist which hydrogen peroxide is suitable for removing moles.

9. Aloe vera

When used every time, aloe vera can help remove moles. You can buy the manufactured product or use the fresh plant. Apply aloe on the mole and cover with a bandage for two hours. It might seem slow for you but it will work and it is the safest way.

10. Pineapple

Mix pineapple juice with some salt to make a scrub paste. Scrub the mole for at least fifteen minutes. It should remove the top layer of the mole. Use this scrub on the mole twice a week.

11. Apple cider vinegar

Acids found in the vinegar such as malic and tartaric can dissolve and eventually remove the mole. Clean the mole with a cotton pad that has apple cider vinegar and leave it on for an hour. To get rid of the mole,do this for two weeks.

First talk to your doctor before you try removing a mole at home. If any irritation occurs wash immediately and remember the remedies are acidic. If you have sensitive skin please be cautious.
