By Postman

Ladies should be inspired to levels equivalent to men.

That is the word from President Cyril Ramaphosa.

He says notwithstanding the headway ladies have made starting around 1956, their battles go on today.

Ramaphosa was talking at the National Women's Day occasion in Richmond, KwaZulu-Natal.

"The ladies of South Africa today have achieved various freedoms and open doors that their incredible moms were denied for a really long time.

"The battle of the ladies in our nation isn't finished at this point. There is as yet a strong battle that should be locked in," he said.

"We actually need to inspire ladies of our country to a level where they are equivalent to men."
