The question was whether she thought transwomen should be allowed to take part in Miss South Africa. Lalela responded by stating that, this should not even be a question. She directly said that "We need to release ourselves from the authority we as society like exerting on other people". A profound statement indeed.
Lalela has her own foundation called the "Lalela Mswabe Foundation" which aims to bring about change in South Africa. The lady is seemingly a very inspirational individual. Her social media posts inspire change, inspire equality amongst women of all shapes and sizes and gives beneficial advise to people. The following is one of her Instagram insightful posts.
