Lalela Mswane was crowned Miss South Africa 2021. She is 24 years old and comes from Kwa-Zulu Natal. She is a model and a dancer, she studied at the University of Pretoria and hold a Bachelor of Law qualification.
'I really wasn't expecting it. which is why I started crying. I was so shocked because I was already so fulfilled and blessed to have made top three. So for me this is genuinely just the cherry in top' Lalela said in an interview moments after being crowned.
She said she is so appreciative and her heart is filled with so much gratitude. The event was hosted by Anele Mdoda and Nico Panagio. The event was attended by former Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi, former Miss South Africa Tamryn Greene, Rolene Strauss and Cindy Nell Roberts.
Special guests included Miss world Tori Ann Singh , and Miss Universe Andrea Meza.
