CAPE TOWN - The Department of Sport, Arts and Culture has invited judgment for a situation identifying with government's choice to pull out help for Miss SA's interest in the Miss Universe expo in Israel.


The Gauteng High Court on Wednesday excused an application by NPO Citizens for Integrity.


Ruling Miss South Africa Lalela Mswane is booked to take part in the worldwide event in Eliat on Sunday.


Clerical representative Masechaba Ndlovu: "We can affirm that the matter has been struck from the roll. The good adjudicator acknowledged that the position of government on the non-backing of Israel is absolutely founded on government strategy as the basic matter for the giving of the assertion."


She said that the office invited the judgment and concurred with the appointed authority's perspectives.


"Serve Nathi Mthethwa has said that our position is attached in the obligation to energize a culture of moral stewardship among all who convey the South African name."
