Zimbabwe Close Their Borders On South Africans

South Africans were left in absolute shock and disbelief when it was reported that Zimbabwean closed it’s borders to keep South Africans from entering the country.

The Omicron coronavirus variant, identified in South Africa, could be the most likely candidate to displace the highly contagious Delta variant, the director of the National Institute for Communicable Diseases (NICD) said on Tuesday.

The discovery of Omicron has caused global alarm, with countries limiting travel from southern Africa for fear it could spread quickly even in vaccinated populations, and the World Health Organisation (WHO) saying it carries a high risk of infection surges.

The irony is that South Africans should be the country that should close its borders to keep illegal Zimbabwean nationals from entering the country. Any person knows that South Africans are not interested in entering Zimbabwe.

South Africans welcomed the closing of borders with open arms, as they aren’t interested in going to Zimbabwe.
