This is what was discovered by the family when they wanted to take meat and basically cook it, they found out that the rat had basically eaten it and this is exactly the rat from Alexandra in the Gauteng province they are known to be very big rats and fierce.
The area is basically overpopulated with rats due to the fact that people are living in squalor there is not much of a distance between the neighbours and the township, the shacks are basically forced together in one space and there is no room for breathing which causes a huge problem and promotes the infestation of rats.
There is nothing that the people of Alexandra can really do to prevent it due to the fact that as a family or individual you will eradicate the rats, however your neighbour also has a rat problem and they end up coming into your home which causes a huge problem.
