Iconic actor and theater performer Israel Zulu made headlines after his sudden exit on the popular Mzansi Magic Drama Gomora that aires from Monday to Friday. He has made it public that it was a decision that was forcefully taken after being diagnosed with gangrene. It affected his performance and couldn't continue to be part of the production anymore. According to reports by Sunday World, his right leg was amputated and he is currently recovering at home. Gangrene is an illness that affects the lower part of the body making it difficult for you to move around. As stated in his statement in the past couple of weeks, he is known as someone that is upbeat and full of energy, but due to this illness, it has rendered him semi-crippled.

There are reports that he might return to his character on Gomora next year, but i guess we have to wait and see how it will pan out. Having your leg cutout is not an easy experience to go through, it's very traumatic and may even mark the end of his career as an actor.
