The family of Patrick Shai has asked the media to give them time and space to mourn. They have said that they are still trying to accept the tragic loss even though it's not so easy to do so.
According to the family spokesperson who goes by the name of Amogelang Mmusi, the family has decided on the memorial and burial of Patrick Shai. Amogelang has stated that the memorial service of the late 64-year-old veteran actor will take place on Thursday 27-January at Market Theatre in Newton when the time is 12:00 until 15:00. He will be laid to his final rest Saturday, 29-January.
Patrick Shai was found dead by his wife in his home. His body was discovered in the garage of their home on a Saturday morning (22-January) Dobsonville.
Amogelang also mentioned that the family is pleading with the media to give them time to digest the sad loss as they are still shattered by the event.
"The speculations made by the public are triggering at the moment for the family", said Amogelang.
