He said the money he is demanding from Mampintsha is from the performances around KZN and also for Mandla Maphumulo better known as Mampintsha's wedding with Babes Wodumo.
The up and coming artist said the money is also for traditional outfits and studio time.
"He liked my job and convinced me to join his record label. I agreed because he promised to change my life" he said.
The Maskandi artist said he was the first Maskandi artist under Mampintsha's record label. "I performed at some of his events including his wedding in April but I was never paid" he said.
He said Mampintsha asked him to hire a traditional outfit for one of his events.
"He didn't have money but I managed to get it on credit. Mampintsha failed to pay for it and the owner wants his R3000 from me," said Nxakanxaka.
He further said Mampintsha asked him to find a studio where he would record his music.
"He said he couldn't record Maskandi music because he doesn't have the right equipment. I found a studio in Umlazi and recorded a song. The studio charged R2000." Nxakanxaka said.
He said he last spoken to Mampintsha back in November and after that Mampintsha started ignoring his calls.
" I don't want to work with him anymore. He's not trustworthy. I'd rather hustle in the streets than be exploited by him, " he said.
" Nxakanxaka is our artist. At this stage we can't discuss further details," Mampintsha's spokesperson Sibusiso Ncube.
