She is well known for her role as Grace Lerothodi in the SABC1 miniseries Death of a Queen, but she is also a prominent casting director and fashion designer.
On August 10, 1977, in Tzaneen, Limpopo, South Africa, Shoki Sebotsane entered the world. She has a lifelong passion for fashion and has always understood that's where she wants to make a living.
She had not given acting much thought during high school, but after graduating, she decided to combine it with her other passions. It is safe to say that Shoki's current way of life is guided primarily by her gut.
In terms of education and experience, Shoki Sebotsane appears to be among the most accomplished actors in all of Mzansi.
She excelled academically at Soweto's Prudens Secondary School and was named valedictorian in 1994. Later, in 2000, she attended Tampere University of Technology in Finland to study Fashion Design with an emphasis on corsetry.
She also has a degree in drama from 2002 from Tshwane University of Technology.
