Having a calling is a bit challenging. There's too much confusions. You have to learn so many things in your ancestral calling. It has never become easy for many people, who go training or those who discover their journey of ancestral calling in their lives.
Many celebrities have walked in this journey of becoming Sangomas.It wasn't easy for them, as this ancestral calling needed their full attention to fullfil their ancestors needs.
Talking about celebrities, Emkay from a drama called skeem saam, has finally agreed to take the journey of ancestral training.Speaking to daily sun, Mlungisi said it wasn't easy for him to accept his calling, it took him a while to accept it.
Mlungisi has now started practising as a Sangoma.
" Fortunately there are things i already knew and understood. Although it's been hectic, lots of things were revealed to me.I found out about stuff i didn't know about myself, stuff i didn't understand from a young age.I now understand why some things happened. It's the hardest thing ever. I really wouldn't wish it on anyone else.The gift of healing people is hard because you lose yourself. Amadlozi are using you, and getting their first chance of life through you, he said."
Mlungisi Mathe told Daily Sun that, he knew from a young age that he should take this journey of ukuthwasa.
" I found out that i had Amadlozi before i was even 15.There were spirits that haunted me, i didn't know what was happening. It was sometimes dreams and visions at other times,he added."
He explained that taking his time to accept his ancestral calling was a serious problem, many things were destroyed. He continued saying when you take time to accept your ancestral callings, amadlozi thinks that you are disrespectful.
Mlungisi said he has a spiritual and the ancestral calling. He sometimes used his bible and he prays for sick people.
