Trending SA is said to be coming back to television screens on SABC 3 with a new different time slot and new hosts.
@PhilMophela on Twitter wrote, "TV:Trending SA is returning. The show will have new hosts and a new time slot possibly(6 PM)".
Previous presenters reffered to as "The squad" are Mzansi's favouriteas as they always made sure that they gave viewers a good laugh just before they called it a night.
With their personalities and senses of humour, "The squad" through commentary made on social media trends knew and made sure on entertaining viewers.
Fans are saddened by the announcement made about the return of the show with new hosts. They are adamant that there are no people that can take the show forward besides them.
Commenting on the tweet, @MissSeemise wrote "I hope new presenters are spicy as hell. That's the reason why i used to love the show especially when Shaka was still a part of it".
"This squad was on fire. I don't think the new hosts are going to bring those flames like it used to be on our screens",#Blacklivesmatter wrote.
"The squad" gave viewers a lot on each and everyday of their show.They are the reason why people never slept early and tuned in on Trending SA. Many are already convinced that there is no Trending SA without "The squad".New hosts have bigger shoes to fill following the work done by "The squad" on viewers.
