Owami Mafokate is a South African DJ, and is Arthur Mafokate, who is known as the King of Kwaito. Her mother is a well-known woman. Her mom was the lead singer of Afro pop group 'Abashante' back in the 90's.

She is turning 21 this year, and Owami has found her own identity in the world and also, with/ without out realising it, she is stepping out of her parent's shadow.

She is a bit active on social media, specially tiktok. On Instagram, she usually posts about her gigs, as a DJ. There are people who have recently commented on her weight gain. Some commented because they envied, and even said that she was gaining at the right places. Two days ago, when Owami was dancing to a challenge on TikTok, most people started asking if she was pregnant.

She deleted the video, and this was probably because people were asking if she was pregnant. She uploaded another video wearing the same outfit, and people continued with the same comments.
