DJ Cleo is now studying bachelor of business management at Wits University. His real name is Tlou Monyepao in 1979, and his stage name is DJ Cleo. He was discovered years back by popular comedian Ashifa Shabba, and he started off by working at YFM station.
After so many years of hosting Nyan’ Nyan with just a grade 12 certificate, Luyanda Potwana has now been admitted in 2021 by the University of London in England to study bachelor of science degree in psychology (BSc in Psychology).
These two celebrities are not the only ones to return to school, but the likes of Zakes Bantwini, Proverb and Khuli Chana are also in school. May they flaurish in their journeys. They realize that they need a change of direction and also the need to fulfill their studies in their selected industries. There have been other celebrities who are not mentioned here who decided to go back to go back to school after some time in the industry. Some do degrees that are not related to their current jobs, or passions. Some totally leave the spotlight and never come back, they focus on that which they have studied for and are never seen on screens or stages after.
