15 plus photos: You would never believe Zekhetelo from Uzalo looks this lovely off set.

Watching Uzalo, one might think Zekhethelo is in her twenties because she pulls it smoothly. She is actually 41. Born Nyalleng Thibedi on the 4th of September in 1980 in Rockville Soweto, the lady is a South African actress well known in the soapie Uzalo.

In contrast to the public opinion that people in the entertainment industry are not gifted intellectually, she holds a Bachelor of science in chemical engineering from the University of Cape Town. Out of passion for arts, she studied Dramatic Arts in New York for a good 6 years.

In the soapie, she is the stepdaughter of Nkunzi, KwaMashu's notorious criminal. Over the course of more than a decade of her acting career, she has also starred in the movies 4 Hours, Ashes to Ashes, Single mothers, Task force and Mflozi street.

She came to the limelight in 2008 when she was working with the New York Film Academy, playing a role in 'Picture Perfect'. In 2012 she got a guest role in a South African drama series 'streets of Mangaung', which smoothed her way in films and series like The Society, Uzalo, Single Mothers.

Although she does not disclose the perpetrator, she admits that one of her ex's abused her. This gave her the motive to do acting as a therapeutic hobby. It, however got firmly stuck on her and she has been molded by acting to the superstar we all know and love.

Besides acting, the superstar is also a model and brand ambassador. Prominent brands like Cell C and DSTV have partnered up with her on some of their commercials.

Being paid between R25k and R30k per month from Uzalo, and her side modelling gigs, she has managed to secure an estimated networth $300 000.
