Bonang Matheba has come through all guns blazing on Twitter. She didn't mince her words when she said that she hates Nathi Mathwethwa.
It is common knowledge that media personality Bonang Matheba hardly tweets nowadays, but when she does, her fans know she brings the goods!
She didn't mince her words. Her latest tweets are directed at Nathi Mthethwa. One of her tweets read: “You’re useless and we all hate you,” followed by a seemingly sarcastic heart emoji. Another tweet read: “You have no clue what you’re doing. Go away!”
So what is Queen B's issue? We cannot know for sure, but it might just be the minister's defense of the R22m flag project.
Nathi Mthethwa did an interview with eNCA yesterday evening, Tuesday 17 May 2022where he defended the decision to spend a staggering R22 million on a flag project.
The government has been continually criticized for not providing adequate support for the arts, in South Africa, so like many of her peers in the entertainment industry, Bonang isn’t happy with Mthethwa.
I vaguely remember artists staging a few protests during covid 19, and I will not be surprised that none of their demands were met, and then here Mthethw wants to spend R22 million rand on steel, cement, and cloth.
It is not the first time that Bonang showed a dislike for Mthethwa. In 2020 she tweeted her dislike and Nathi responded. This sparked many tweeter users to come for Nathi, saying that he only responds to celebrities and not poorSouth Africans without sports facilities.
I can tell you right now, that Nathi Mthethwa is not having just another day at the office. He must be fielding calls and trying to explain to everyone, I believe himself too, why this project actually makes sense.
