This year just continues to cause more heart breaks and tears of sadness. You have to wonder when will people get to enjoy the work of their favourite entertainers without worrying about what could happen next in terms of their well-being. Unfortunately, the year 2022 has taken away some multi-talented people from our screens and stages. As we can no longer watch them do what they love and loved for over the years. Now, it has been reported that Jamie Bartlett has sadly passed away at the age of 55. It's still uknown what may have caused his sudden death, as he was seen this past weekend at a popular event having fun with the people. "RIP: Jamie Bartlett. Prolific stage and screen actor, best known for his role as David Genaro on the etv soapie Rhythm City, has died at 55," wrote the entertainment blogger Phil Mphela on his Twitter account.
According to individuals that attended his event alongside the television personality Somizi Mhlongo at 012 Lifestyle, he was bubbly as usual and greeted different attendees. Hence, his death has been shock, as they didn't see anything wrong with him. "Didn't he have an event at 012_lifestyle with Somizi yesterday?💔 Yohhhh this is really sad. We lost a legend," wrote @Tshidisho_053 on Twitter.
Bartlett is famously known for his impressive role of David Genaro on the now-defunct E.tv sopie Rhythm City. As he had one of the biggest rivarly with Suffocate Ndlovu portrayed by Mduduzi Mabaso. However, he has done alot of work in the entertainment industry. As the award-winning actor was part of Isidingo, The Fire Raises, Nothing For Mahala, amongst others. His work will forever live as he has been part of different productions. Numerous people have sent their deepest condolences to his family, friends, relatives and everyone who knew the legendary actor.
