Makhadzi’s done with mjolo, and her new hit track has already gone viral
Makhadzi has dropped a new music video for the song “Zwivhuya” featuring Zimbabwean artist Jon Delinger, and as expected from the queen, it’s fire.
Makhadzi is done with problems of mojolo (dating), which was the topic of her previous single “Ghanama”, featuring Prince Benza. She is now focused on sending a prayer to the Lord, asking for “Zwivhuya” (Blessings or Great Things).
Makhadzi, who is from Ha-Masia Limpopo, showcases African heritage through her outfits and those worn by her dancers, while highlighting the struggles that many people face.
She leads the song in TshiVenda, singing, “the year has ended oh Lord, When you start the new one put me first. When you bless others, begin with me, because all great things come to those who are persistently fighting hard for success.”
In just four days, the song from Makhadzi and Jon Delinger has been viewed more than 760,000 times on YouTube.
