The African women who have excelled in their different disciplines are listed below. They accomplished everything by themselves, which is why we refer to them as "independent females."


Bonessa Matheba

In her native South Africa, she is a popular radio and TV host. The north-western South African city of Mahikeng is renowned for its legendary voice and extraordinary oratory skills. She was pushed into the spotlight when she took over as host of LIVE (now Live Amp) on SABC 1. Bonang is also a business entrepreneur.

Zozibini Tunzi

She was crowned Miss Universe in 2019. Additionally, Zozibini graduated from Cape Peninsula University of Technology with a bachelor's degree in public relations and image management. Later in her career, she went on to earn a bachelor's degree in public relations from the same institution.

Mercy is a successful businesswoman. She triumphed in the fourth season in addition to Big Brother Naija.


Jr. Theodore Thulo

Boity Thulo, a South African television celebrity best known by her stage name Boity, is a rapper, actor, businesswoman, and model. Thulo was listed on Forbes Africa's 30 Under 30 list for 2019 thanks to her work in the music and entertainment sector.
