South African entertainment industry is as of late one of the most recognized among other countries across the continent when it comes to the stories they tell in television production or films.
And every year there is always a brand new show that the people always fall in love with. It does show that we have grown in the entertainment space. Whether in music, fashion, etc.
Apart from that, it is very nice to see that there are always new and talented faces coming up now and then. Meanwhile, television series known as Blood and Water on Netflix has become one of the most talked-about shows we have so far in Mzansi and it seems that the country cannot get enough of it.
For season 2, the show has so far added a new and interesting cast member by the name of Leroy Siyafa, who plays Fikile Bhele's (Khosi Ngema) new love interest, admits that the excitement of joining the popular teen drama series outweighed the nerves.
Although not much is known about the muso by the look of things, he is indeed going to shake things up on the show. After watching season one and loving the show so much and being a fan, I was just looking forward to working with really talented and experienced actors, who are just good at what they do, he said.
And filming during the Covid-19 pandemic brought additional challenges, but according to Leroy, it also brought the cast closer together.
Leroy promises "lots of unexpected outcomes" and a lot more to uncover about the show's big mystery for those who are yet to start watching the second season.
"I'm a very sociable person, and the way I connect with people is by having conversations. I like connecting with people, you know, greeting people with hugs and everything. So it wasn't great that I couldn't do that," says the 21-year-old.
Indeed we are looking forward to the new season and also seeing and learning more about Leroy Siyafa's interesting role.
