He could not believe no one came to his baby shower |check out how he celebrated himself

Lil Nas X, 22, posted a video to his YouTube page on Wednesday teasing the release of his album Montero on Friday, in which he can be seen arriving at his own backyard for a baby shower to commemorate the release of his debut album. (Do you recall his maternity shoot?)

He captioned the video on Instagram, "Spent hours setting everything for my baby shower and no one came up :(."

The star enters his garden blindfolded to find a completely prepared light blue-themed baby shower, complete with balloons, cakes, food, and an empty set of seats. Lil Nas X noticed gifts from his many collaborators as he looked around.

There's one from Jack Harlow, who appears on "Industry Baby," another from Doja Cat, who appears on "Scoop," a fourth from Megan Thee Stallion, who appears on "Dolla Sign Slime," and a last one from Miley Cyrus, who appears on track 15 "Am I Dreaming."

Lil Nas X glances around while wearing his album art robe as a title card playing a snippet from an unreleased song plays in the background.

The rapper shared photographs of himself enjoying various pastries and cupcakes during his guestless baby shower on Instagram.

"My baby shower is about to begin. Trying not to cry omg omg omg omg omg omg o "He included a caption to one of the photos.

In an interview with PEOPLE, Lil Nas X disclosed that he is pregnant and that the idea for a baby bump came to him while listening to Megan's verse on their song together.

He told PEOPLE, "I was like, 'Oh my God, this is incredible,' so I immediately contacted my stylist." "'Wow, this all comes together,' she exclaimed. It's your album. 'This is your child.' 'Yeah, this is my baby, huh?' I said. 'Yeah, you should do a pregnant shot,' she said as a joke."

What to expect from his "baby," according to Lil Nas X, is that it will chronicle his entire road to prominence.

He says, "You're getting a lot of stories about me." "You're going to hear a lot about my background and where I want to go in my love life. They are, nevertheless, a bop. I think I've finally discovered a good middle ground between being as authentic as possible in my music and writing a hit song."

He, like any father, has a lot of aspirations and wishes for his upcoming "baby."

"I hope this record reaches every single corner of the earth," he says before adding, "It's going to happen!"
