Ditebogo Ledwaba is growing and amounting into something great as an actress in the media industry. She is merging into bigger spaces in the industry of which she has never imagined herself landing to them.
Ditebogo Ledwaba plays the role of a 15-year-old girl, Mbalenhle, on Generations The Legacy. Mbalenhle is the adopted daughter of Lucy and Mrekza who has fallen more in love with her grandmother, God Flo, who takes good care of her and never stops showing love and support in everything she does. She is always affected by how Lucy handles things and takes decisions at times. She is the biggest friend of Nontle who is a daughter of the great Tau Moroka. Mbalenhle is a young girl that is sometimes affected by her personal life at home with her family, enjoys studying, writing her home works and also likes being independent.
In real life, she is a 20-year-old who was born and bred in Pretoria, she is a film student at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, she is a YoTv live presenter on Fridays in the afternoon and she also plays the role of Lesedi on Lioness. She is someone who is in love with art and the media industry. Ditebogo is not only an actress but she is a singer who is the woman behind the mic of the songs "Hold Me" and "Rise". She has a YouTube channel where she uploads all her music audios on.
Ditebogo has been busy the past few months with shootings of the new film titled "Inkwekhwezi" of which she is one of the lead characters on or rather a starring. It is said that it will play on Mzansi Magic on the 10th of July 2021 at 20:30.
She has worked with the likes of Kgomotso Christopher in this film. She describes her as an amazing talented woman with a flamboyant personality and someone fun to be around with. She expresses how lovely it was to have shared the set with. Kgomotso Christopher is also one of the lead characters of this film, she perhaps is the second since they are 3 of them(Ditebogo, her and Chris Radebe).
Ditebogo is so excited with this new journey as she gets an opportunity to work with people who have been in this industry for the longest of time now and have achieved awards for it. She says working with Chris Radebe who is also a lead character was truly beautiful. She says she enjoys being around her and thanks him for all the fun they shared and she is super grateful to have also shared a set with.
