Ever since his alleged "break" from two of the most famous shows in Southern Africa, Somizi Mhlongo has been hosting numerous gigs and having public engagements with his fans, supporters and others via events in provinces/ cities such as Polokwane and Gauteng. As expected, these events accommodate other media personalities, artists and performers such as Thato "Dj Fresh" Sikwane. The two rather looked very cozy in a picture that Somizi shared on his Instagram page captioned "re union @djfresh my dawg".
They were at a particular event and Somgaga was holding him from the back almost like "hiding" from the crowd as it got hyped from seeing him.
In accordance to local media though, the two have really been "dawgs" in Somizi's words, obviously due to the similar industry they serve under. They have successfully collaborated and worked together under numerous brands and conglomerates such as the SABC's metro FM, the "Comedy central roast of Somizi" and frequent events.
