Today let's talk about musician Makhadzi. Makhadzi is a South African musician who is really climbing the ladder in the music and entertainment industry perfectly. She is one of the few young and vibrant individuals who are making it successfully in the music career. She is one of the people who worked hard to get where she is. She is young girl from Venda who used to perform at supermarkets. Her journey to where she is really inspiring to many young rising music stars. Her real names are Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona but people know her by her stage name Makhadzi.
She has worked with many award winning musicians in South Africa including the likes of Master KG, Price Kay Bee, Casper Nyovest and Nomcebo. She has also worked with other musicians from other countries including Charma Gal. Makhadzi is now an international musician who is now perfoming in other countries. This weekend she was perfoming at Malawi.
A picture of her perfoming in Malawi was leaked to social media. The picture circulated to all social media platforms. The picture was showing her thighs. What made her sad is that somebody decided to edit the picture and made it darker than it really is. It got her embarrassed and sad. She has made an appeal to stop embarrassing her because it affects her family.
She says she is strong but her family is not strong enough to deal with the shame she goes through. It is really unfair to shame some people because of their body. You should remember that there are some things that we cannot change in our Iives. Body shaming has the impact of ruining the self esteem of another individual. As humans we should avoid doing such.
