I honestly do not think that there is anything wrong with this, but people were dragging him for it. I guess they reacted out of shock or because they are not really with the term "transgender".
However, Vuyo decided to announce something that broke the heart of his fans and was not expected at this time. Vuyo has decided to hang the Gadaffi character forever and has left Generations: The Legacy.
"In case you were wondering...I left #GenerationsTheLegacy a while ago. What you have been watching was pre-recorded something like 2 months ago. My ship sails a perilous dark sea by choice now, do not look back", Vuyo wrote in an Instagram post.
However, this is not the first time that Vuyo's exit from the soapie was spoken about. A while ago, it was rumored that Vuyo had left Generations: The Legacy as he had landed another role to act on Queen Sono. The rumors turned out to not be true as Queen Sono got canceled before Vuyo could even act on it.
It is a sad thing that Vuyo's character as Gadaffi will come to an end soon as he was one of the people's favorite characters on the soapie. We wish Vuyo well in the future of his acting career.
