Thuli Phongolo who goes by the Jewel of the Nile is one of the South African best female DJs, actresses, and media personalities. Her stage name as the DJ is known as Thuli P. Thuli is known for her role as Namhla on the biggest soapie, Generations the Legacy.
The DJ happens to be the most booked now as we see her at different clubs and events. The highly anticipated DJ was booked together with the ex Generations actor, Vuyo Dabula @KwaAce club the celebrity crush Friday. We can all agree that Vuyo has many ladies crushing on him, from his role as Gadaffi. Thuli has a beauty of goodness, she has a beautiful body, and every guy wishes to have her.
Thuli P has now gone to a stage, where she knows they won't be a party without her, she knows she's the main thing and her confidence is what we live for. Her recent booking fee has caused social media outrage. Even though the actress has solidified herself as one of the hottest female DJs in the country, fans are accusing her of playing a pre-recorded mixtape during a gig at the grove.
Now the booking fee that she released last week has everyone talking, according to the poster circulating social media, the star charging fee ranges from R20 000 per hour. The poster stipulates that her flights have to be with Fly SAA or British Airways and she must fly business class.
According to me, Thuli P knows her worth and she's not the first celebrity to do this. Let me just say, everyone has their target market and Thuli P knows she's not for everyone. Such confidence is needed to survive in this country.
Since everything is going up, including petrol, the price of oil and the economy falling in our eyes everyone has to do what best suits them. According to get standards, I take it is expensive for her to survive.
