MTN Joyous Celebration is a South African Gospel music group. This group was created in 1996 by the talented gentlemen Lindelani Mkhize, Jabu Hlongwane and Mthunzi Namba. It has been active every since.
Joyous Celebration's official sponsor is MTN and has been in service for more than 9 years. This group has been a platform that produces good music that changed over the years. Gospel music, for praise and worship, that heals and restores faith on people.
At the very same time, the choir's mandate was to also create Gospel artists from the group that healed throughout South Africa and the world. The group created incredible artists, who are surviving in the industry, like Ntokozo Mbambo-Mbatha, Khaya Mthethwa, Hle, Sabu Satsha, Mahalia Buchanan, Buhle Thela and many other incredible Gospel worshippers.
After more than 25 years that Joyous Celebration has been active and many vocalists have come and gone, the group has begun a search once again. MTN Joyous Celebration has now come to South Africa, opening a platform for those who are interested to come and join the choir.
MTN Joyous Celebration has opened an online platform for South African to choose their MTN Joyous Celebration Exclusive Song, record a 2 minutes video of themselves and then send it to the given link that is posted on their social media platforms. This opportunity is open for all interested South Africans and closes on February next year.
