Brace yourselves for season 2 of Real Housewives of Durban as it has been reported that it has been renewed for another season.
According to the Daily Sun media publication, it has been reported the second season of the popular reality show with settings working throughout the first season will hit the streaming service early next year. This was confirmed to daily sun through a statement.
"The leading African streaming service has also renewed the Real Housewives of Durban for season 2, after the show broke showmax records earlier this year. Following its success in 50 countries across Africa, the Real Housewives of Dallas season 1 has also launched in numerous international territories," reads the statement.
Showmax had a surprise also for its many uses as it announced that it had a new edition - The Real Housewives of Lagos - that will also be coming to showmax soon.
According to the publication, head of content Candice Fanguerio said they could not wait to show the continent and other side of Lagos with all the drama, high fashion and luxury.
"The Real Housewives franchise lends itself to localisation, and we know our audience is going to love seeing it reinvented Naija-style," she said.
The Nbcuniversal International, Langeberg said they were proud to build on the international success of the franchise with showmax.
"The vibrancy of Lagos and its rich culture, station and ampulance makes for the perfect setting for the show. We also can't wait to see the second season of Durban edition come to life and deliver more extravagance and entertainment."
Real Housewives of Durban has proven to be one of the biggest shows that I watched currently in the country. It had made a mark on the television screens and made many followers on its social media platforms.
