Messi's House: The Reasons Why Planes Are Not Allowed To Fly Over It

When it comes to real estate, celebrities are well-known for their excessive spending habits and preferences. The vast majority of celebrities seek something eye-catching, something that will draw the attention of the general public to themselves.

This is not true in the case of Lionel because the reason airplanes aren't allowed to fly over the house has nothing to do with his position of power or prominence.

A temperature restriction prevents planes from flying over the home of the FC Barcelona star, which is located in Gava, a village on the outskirts of the city of Barcelona. Due to the proximity to Leo Messi's residence and the possible danger it poses, planes are not permitted to fly over it.

La casa de Messi, built in the style of an Italian villa, has three stories and features wooden balconies, hexagonal sections, a large pool, a green-roofed parking garage, as well as a half-grass and solar-paneled roof.

Gava is around ten kilometers from El-Prat, Barcelona's principal airport, which is located in the city. As Javier Sanchez-Prieto, the Spanish aviation chief, says, "Planes are not permitted to fly over Lionel Messi's house, thus the extension of Barcelona airport is not possible."
