Thuso Mbedu is a South African actor who was born on July 8, 1991. For her role in the telenovela Is'Thunzi, she was nominated for an Emmy Award. She's also known for her roles as Kitso Medupe in Scandal!, Nosisa in Isibaya, and Boni Khumalo in Saints and Sinners. She played as the main character in the Amazon Video short series The Underground Railroad in 2021, and she will also star with Viola Davis in Gina Prince-upcoming Bythewood's historical epic The Woman King.
